The Archives of the Lauren
Rogers Museum of Art consists of personal
correspondence, pamphlets, autographs,
photographs, and other materials relating to
Laurel, Jones County and Mississippi history.
The Archives also houses an extensive collection
of early 20th century travel picture postcards
from around the world and the local area.
Researchers are
welcome to use LRMA's archived materials. Because some items
require preparation before handling, users must fill out a
Research Application Form in advance. The form can be faxed
to LRMA at (601) 426-8601, or emailed to
dconklin@lrma.org
Reproduction
All photocopying
and scanning of Archive materials will be handled by
Library/Archives staff. Please allow 2-4 weeks per order for
scanning and large photocopy requests. Requests for permission
to publish any archived material must be directed to the
Librarian. For reproduction and use fees, go to

Note: The user
must assume responsibility for compliance with Federal Copyright
Law (Title 17, United States Code) or any other issues involved
in the use of any materials.
On-site
Archive Use Policy
Only
Library/Archive staff are permitted in the Archives. Requested
archive materials will be brought to users by the staff to the
Library reading area. No archive materials may be taken from the
Library reading area.
Notes must be
taken in pencil. Researchers must bring note paper.
All materials must
be kept in the order they were delivered. Writing, folding, or
any handling that may damage materials is strictly prohibited.
No food, drink, or
smoking are permitted in the Library.
Cameras are not
allowed in the Library or Museum.
Archive materials
must be returned 15 minutes before closing time.
