Permanent Collection Galleries
Our “Collection Intervention” series will place objects and special signage within the permanent collection gallery displays. The first in the series, Who, What, Wear? is a collaboration with fashion and theater design professors and students from Mississippi State University and The University of Southern Mississippi. The Museum chose works from the collection to serve as inspiration and students then researched the works to develop sketches and dossiers. Other students and professors have created reproduction and inspired-by garments that are displayed next to paintings from our permanent collection.
