Artist Charlie Buckley

Oxford, MS artist Charlie Buckley is known for his complex paintings that are rooted in the local landscape and vernacular architecture of the South. Buckley will discuss his LRMA commission of its centennial painting featuring iconic Laurel buildings of the Rogers, Eastman, and Gardiner families. Prints will be also be available for sale.

Artist Bekye Fargason

Bekye Fargason will discuss her new series of paintings featuring the landscape of Walker’s Pond in southern Jones County.  One of the paintings from this series is currently on view in the  LRMA exhibition Laurel Artists.  Fargason splits her time between Laurel and Santa Fe; her work has been collected all over the world and featured in national architectural and design magazines.
