Glass Blowing Demonstration

5:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Carriage House Studio

Led by Mohawk Steel and Glass


FREE and open to the public.

No reservation required.

 

As part of the demonstration, the first 20 participants who register with payment will have the opportunity to create a “one-of-a-kind” blown glass creation. The student works alongside the glass blower to create a blown glass ornament.

Non-members:$40

 

Mohawk Steel and Glass was opened in Hattiesburg in 2016 by sculptors Jeremy Thomley and Daniel Bell. Bell studied glass blowing at the Appalachian Center for Craft and Thomley’s background is large-scale steel sculpture. Mohawk Steel and Glass is the only functioning hot shop in Mississippi. Make plans to attend this exciting event!
