The Art of Teaching – Integrating Art throughout the Core Curriculum

This workshop for teachers offers participants a collection of art-integrated ideas for various subjects, with an emphasis on higher order thinking skills and mathematics. Participants will be provided handouts with lesson ideas, as well as standards covered and supplies needed. This practical, hands-on workshop allows the teacher to take on the role of student and practice and apply concept skills, rather than merely reading and writing about them. A lunch break will be provided and CEU credit will be offered.
